The Lord Jesus Christ said '..the Kingdom of God is very close, repent (turn away from the wrong way you are going) and believe the Gospel.' The Bible makes it very clear that everyone has sinned and fallen short of the standard which God has set for us. No one can say they are good enough to get into God's heaven because no one is perfect. The Bible also tells us that the punishment for not reaching this standard is death, eternal death and separation from God in a place of punishment called hell. This is not good news but nonetheless it is true. It is something we all need to realise and face up to. If we continue on our own way we will never be able to go to heaven which is where God wants us to be and where most of us would like to end up. However, God so loved the world that He provided a way by which we can have our wrong-doing (sin) dealt with, have access to God and a place in heaven. God sent His one and only special Son Jesus Christ into this world to save us sinners. He lived a perfect life and then died on a cross, not for His own sin but in the place and as a substitute for anyone who will fully trust in Him. He paid the price that God required for the punishment of our wrong-doing. Jesus then rose from the dead 3 days later proving that death had been defeated and His sacrifice for sin had been accepted. His death has satisfied a holy and just God which has guaranteed the salvation of all who believe that Jesus died in their place so that they can go free. Because Jesus lives He is able to forgive anyone and give them eternal life with God in heaven. To achieve this you must turn away from the wrong direction in life you are going and instead follow after Jesus living for Him, believing that He is God's perfect Son and that He died for your wrong-doing. God calls everyone to repent, leave behind and turn away from their sin and through faith in Jesus Christ alone enter into the Kingdom of God. We would lovingly urge you to consider the challenge of the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus Christ upon your life. If you would like further help or have questions then please contact us and we will be pleased to try and help in any way we can. May God Bless You. |
